Each person has two major problems, that on our own, we cannot fix. The first problem we have is SIN! Because of our own personal sin – each of us is separated from God! Lost! Deserving only of God’s wrath!
The second problem we have is DEATH! The wages of that sin is death! It is appointed unto man once to die! Death and the grave cannot be avoided by anyone!
But there is GOOD NEWS! And the good news, or Gospel, takes care of both of these problems!
The good news is that God has a plan to save you! The plan included a Savior – Jesus, the Christ!
God came down to Earth in human form in the person of Jesus Christ to save us from our sins, suffering and death.
Death is the just punishment for sin. But because God loved us, Jesus took our punishment, suffered and died paying for our sins with His own blood. It is at the cross that Jesus took care of our SIN problem!
After Jesus died and was buried in the tomb, He physically resurrected on the third day proving His power over sin and death forever. The resurrection of Jesus gives us victory over our DEATH problem!
Jesus appeared to His disciples thoroughly proving His resurrection and then ascended into heaven to reign as our Lord and Savior.
Jesus is patiently waiting for sinners to repent, but He will return and take to heaven with Him those who believe and obey the Gospel of Christ.
Here is how one OBEYS the Gospel:

If you have never been immersed into Christ for the forgiveness of sins, why do you delay? It is a matter of eternal consequences!
Once we come out of the water a new babe in Christ, and because God so graciously, freely forgives us, it is our desire to be FAITHFUL to Him the rest of our life!
